Express Member who returned my rental Sunday at the Midway Airport return center. I was charged for 2 duplicate rentals (my fault) and went to the counter for assistance.
We had a reservation for a SUV and when we arrived we were told they have no cars they gave them all out already. They said we could wait but couldn’t say how long. We ended up going somewhere else. Will never reserve or rent with them again.
Dollar is an awesome company. Gave me a very competitive rate, and a car with only 6000 miles on it. Essentially brand new. Excellent mileage. No one tried to oversell their insurance. ( my choice). Speedy check-in and check out. Thdy are as good as hertz if not better. BOOK RIGHT AWAY!
If there was a lower rate than 1 star that would be it. The RUDE rental agent treated us like we were trash. Talked down to me and my husband. After I had rented the car I walked over to another rental counter and waited for a very long time and was happy to wait in order to receive better service, however I had to take the car because there were none other available. The man was a black guy with 3 inch fingernails. Total jerk. Argued with me relentlessly. Done with this company.
The male and female rental desk clerks Sunday morning were the most helpful, respectful & patient car rental employees I have EVER experienced.
