Thumbs up and full mark to CKGS
This is the worst Customer service of any kind I have experienced. Each query takes 2-3 days for a reply. Unfortunately this is the only channel. If you do not need a regular visa, get an e-visa. You will skip CKGS and save time and money. If you need a regular visa, I am sorry. You will learn the patience of Job.
MOST PATHETIC SYSTEM EVER. I have been trying to complete my OCI Misc. form because I have new passport. There was a mistake about marital status I try to fix it but it will not allow me. So back to square one I had to cancel this application I don't know how much refund I will get I am suppose to get almost full refund as per the person I talked at CKGS, I Applied for refund and cancelled started fresh application again paid again, now I am ready to fill out fresh application on GOV website, but as I enter passport number and name it brings back old application which can not be fixed. I selected clearly new fresh misc. OCI but still it is doing this. Someone knowledgeable person better answer this question, as we all have work to do and other priorities to take care. such a simple thing you guys have made it so complicated it is beyond fixable. it suppose to be user friendly system.... at this point I am very frustrated and I better get all my refund this problem be fixed. you have not done anything and my credit card should have not charged then why am i suppose to pay a penny? in fact you guys should pay me because I am wasting my time with your useless system.
I would honestly rate this zero stars because the staff isn’t very helpful. They have one computer in case you need to use it to print any of your documents. So you have wait in line until your turn. Last time I checked I thought it was 2017 but doesn’t look like they have any funding to have more than one computer. Also, I couldn’t print my application online due to technical problems and instead of being quick to help me I was told that I should call the customer care phone #. I asked for the number and was told to refer to their website. I work in customer care and it wouldn’t kill you to take 2 mins out to look up the phone number and provide it. It was not easy to find the number on their website. Now I have to go back with another scheduled appointment. I spoke with other people that were waiting and a few of them spent hours and another guy was waiting practically all day. I work and I scheduled my appointment and went in during lunch time. It was not a quick process. I remember 10 years ago I would walk into the embassy and I would be out within minutes. This place is beyond slow and not very helpful. MAKE SURE TO BRING EVERYTHING WITH YOU! Otherwise you’ll wait hours and have to make multiple visits. They really need to work on better customer service.
Passport renewal regular processing completed in 5 days and got my new passport.
Very bad people they just reject the application coz wrong date of issue of passport they did not even inform us that date is wrong please fill out new application and send or correct and send they just send me email that they waited and email but i did not received any email from them. they just want to make money. so they can become reach I am sure they will loss the services soon from Indian government. also they told me to file new application but when i do try to file they does not allow me coz it says passport number i added had already application so change the passport number it is saying their website. i have only one passport and they want to change passport number what F***ck. they are doing they does not know. excuse my language
During my submission in one of the form my office address was present instead of residence, which the customer service lady pointed it out and erased it with whitener herself and asked me to fill my residence address. That's it. Hassle free submission and collection.
