Badly done UK!!
As others have mentioned.....HORRIBLE visa process. I have had a better experience with many other consulates from multiple other countries. The website for the application isn't functioning. I tried the automated system and I was not able to speak to a human being for assistance. Then when I went to the help section I found a help line. The help line system requires you PAY just to speak with someone for assistance (I believe I paid $1.50 a minute). That is the most outrageous thing I have ever heard. They were useless by the way.
I have never written a review for anything in my life, but I thought I must comment if only it may help may make some changes or at least warn others who are about to have to deal with this nightmarish process.
I'm uncertain if these Twits invented cell hell, but they've gone bonkers with a totally useless automated phone system.
Disgusted with the visa processes. They make it near impossible for anyone to get a student visa. Not enough information is publicly avalable and they refuse to talk to you. They obviously don't want anyone to go England.
It would appear that the UK does not want visitors to their country, if the "customer service" and VISA application process is anything to go by. I truly expected the same courtesy and service from the UK Consulate that I have received from British Airways, but sadly the UK Consulate does not seem to encourage visitors and certainly does NOT put it's best foot forward. This is by far THE WORST VISA experience I have EVER had, considering I have dealt with the Australian Consulates, the Austrian Consulates, the Belgian Consulates, the French Consulates, the South African Consulates, and the US Consulates in the past.
