My family saw the Jurassic world exhibit. It was fantastic. The dinosaurs were so realistic, very impressive. My little ones were a little frightened, but have been asking to go back every since. First time there so we were a little confused on how to get back to our car, so pay close attention to which way you walk. But I definitely recommend attending.
I would love to bring my daughter to this museum because they have an area of mammals, birds and reptiles which would be an interest to her. I love the T-REX statue which is found at entrance.
Impressive! I love the Jurassic park! The field museum is really interesting and big. I could not finish all of them due to time limit. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit! I love how they explain how mummies were made, and how different they were for different economy status. An adding point for that was that there were museum staffs that were really helpful. They were knowledgeable and answered to questions patiently :)
The Field Museum of Natural History, l history museum in Chicago, and is one of the largest such museums in the world. The museum maintains its status as a premier natural history museum through the size and quality of its educational and scientific programs, as well as due to its extensive scientific specimen and artifact collections. The diverse, high quality permanent exhibitions attract million visitors annually.
I would say you can literally spend the whole day here reading and getting lost in the history. The museum is overwhelming but I would say it’s perfect for all ages. If you buy a City Pass, your admission includes the special exhibits. The underground and the china exhibits are the both equally informative. Personally, I would chose the China exhibit over the soil.
Lost my card there. Field Museum security called me at me at my office to let me know. They held it for me for a week. Still do not know how they know my number , they rock. Bistro staff is also cool. Field brews their own beer - T Rex on the front of the bottle, and all.
Extremely large science and natural museum It's a combination of new and old. Parking sort if pricey (we parked at Soldiers Field). The Explorer Cafe had reasonable prices for this sort of entity. We liked the bird exhibit especially.
