Awesome place, I bring all 5 of my dogs here it's clean the staff and doctors are friendly and happy to help. Definitely glad I decided to bring my pets here!
While the staff is friendly, informed, and caring, I have experienced some type of problem on every single occasion that I have been here. Either the staff forgets to fill prescriptions and makes me wait an additional 45 minutes with my pets, or they completely forget to call about test results. The care ranges from bare minimum to effectively competent depending on which veterinarian you see. Finally, the costs are higher then any other animal hospital that I have called to compare with. I will be looking elsewhere going forward.
I recently moved from the North side and found it necessary to find a new veterinarian closer to home that was comparable to my old vet, wouldn't break my budget and most importantly, was certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). I also am not a fan of the big corporate vet offices. Well, I hit the jackpot with Pulaski Animal Hospital. I have brought my little fur babies there on 3 separate occasions, seen 3 different doctors and have been totally satisfied. Plus, they are way less costly than my other vet. The only downside is that you may have a longer wait time as a walk-in but the reception room is large and clean and the staff is always courteous. FYI: When I had an appointment I was seen in a timely fashion.
I used to be a customer for years but the last time I was there I didn’t like how one the doctors (Angelica) treated my dog. She was rude and very unprofessional. I don’t think I will be going back. If I pay for a service I think that my dog deserves to be treated with care.
My dog was mauled by a pit bull, the surgery involved repair to the right side, shoulder muscle and arm pit area. He was stitched and a drain ran thru the muscle then wrapped. Also he was given antibodies to fight off infections. The doctors and nurses did a wonderful job, following up at hospital Saturday. Thank all of you. Job well don't.
