Main goal of this clinic is to charge you as much as they can. Be careful....
I got my cat in to the emergency clinic around 3pm. After they ran some tests, we determined that her results were too critical for any quality of life. My cat was put to sleep at 6pm that day.
Dr. Adam Perry was amazing with my cat. I have a high anxiety cat that usually doesn't have great vet experiences. Dr. Perry's calming and peaceful energy helped cultivate a more relaxing vibe. He really took the time to thoroughly explain all of our options in treating our cat's ailment. Since then, my boy is much better. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.
Kind staff. My kitten was comfortable with the staff and the visiting vet.
I don't know if it would have given her a chance to live whether we had got her to the emergency clinic first thing in the morning or not, but I would like to know that she had every chance possible... and thanks to Broadway Animal Hospital, she did not. I will NEVER recommend this place to anybody.
I recently had a terrible experience with this Animal Hospital. I took my cat in because she had not been eating or drinking. At first the staff handled the situation professionally, giving her fluids, and taking a blood sample for testing. The doctor told me that there was the possibility of a very serious kidney condition or possibly even cancer. The tests were to take place over night and they told me that they would call me with the results in the morning.
The next morning came around, so I gave them a call around 9am. I was told the doctor was in surgery and would be making calls with results as soon as they were done. Again at 11am, I called again. Once again, I was told the same thing so I asked for an estimated timeline. The receptionist said most likely before 12:30-1pm. This already seemed ridiculous given the potential serious nature of my cat's illness. 2pm rolled around and I had been anxiously waiting all day for the results, so I called again. The receptionist told me the doctor was still in surgery. I again asked for a timeline, this time not so politely, and was told that I would for sure hear from them before 7pm! I demanded to hear the results, so after a brief hold the receptionist returned. She said that she spoke with the doctor, and the doctor said that I needed to take my cat to the emergency clinic right away!!
Awesome Vet. Dr Kas is the best! I would highly recommend to anyone in the Edgewater/Rogers Park area.
