Great spot to see a movie. I remember coming here as a kid to see second run movies for $1-2. Now they have first run movies for only $7-8. It's not the biggest theater with the latest tech, but it is nevertheless kitschy and fills your craving for nostalgia.
Great theater. They might not have every new release but they have every new release worth seeing. They also play old movies, a privilege that most theaters seem to have given up. They have classic seats so you can focus on the movie and not the person next to you putting their genitals in their dates mouth. Indie owned and operated, great bar, almost BYOB.
Great old school theater with old school prices! Reasonable prices for movies and confessions, as well as super friendly service. The first we went our movie was over sold with no seats available, so they offered us a free ticket to the next showing. This is our favorite theater in Chicago!
Best place to watch movie! Reasonable prices for tickets and for their theater stacks, too! Show up a bit early too and grab a beer beforehand... This is always my number one place to go see a movie.... Oh and the chairs have a ton of leg room and all of the seats recline. Just a couple blocks for the Logan blue line stop and a lot of places around to grab a bite to eat.
Logan Theatre is a clean, modern theatre that is designed to look very vintage. It's much smaller than theatres like Music Box, but the quality and vibe are much different. Good matinee prices for military and students ($7.50 I think). There is also a cool lounge for drinking and hanging out before or after a film. I believe there are four screens. They usually have three wide release films and at least one indie movie. Cool theatre.
