I ordered a washer and dryer from Grand Appliance specifically because they quoted a faster delivery date/time than other places. Cut to the day before expected delivery, no phone call to confirm so I called them. They said it was going to be another 10 days. They said there was no evidence of the originally quoted delivery date. After many emails and phone calls (I want to also mention that they would promise to call at a certain time and never did. I personally find it to show great work ethic at a business to call when you say you will and return missed phone calls in a timely manner), we were able to come to an agreement that they would deliver a similar product that they had in stock 3 days later. Not as good as originally quoted but 3 days was better than 10.
We just left Grand Appliance tonight and were extremely impressed with the people we worked with. Unfortunately we only heard one of the names of the associates we worked with, Garrett, but they all were great. We've been to most other Grand stores in the area and left very unsatisfied. We have also been frequenting ABT and won't go back due to how pushy, fake and unknowledgeable they are. We're planning a big kitchen remodel and have lots of difficult restrictions for possible appliances needed. These guys here tonight spent a very long time showing models and photos, drawing up diagrams and explaining different options. I never felt that horrible push to buy but, without question, when we are ready to buy this store is getting our money. Thank you.
TL;DR: They messed up my order but did a decent job rectifying the situation with much prodding from myself.
We purchased a washer and dryer (nearly $2,000) and scheduled delivery for two days later. We were told they would come "early afternoon" so we took off work to be home. Early afternoon turned in to 5pm when we were headed out of town for the weekend. They could not reschedule us until 4 days later, where we requested an afternoon delivery and once again took the afternoon off. At 9:45am we received a call that they were 10 minutes away. We again had to take time off work due to poor planning on the company's end. I called the store to let them know what happened and was told that's just the way it goes. The sales rep told me a customer service manager would call me to try to make things right, however we never received a call from anyone. It was extremely disappointing to spend so much money and have terrible customer service. We will not be purchasing from Grand in the future and do not recommend them if you're looking for reliable delivery and good customer service.

It doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside they have an impressive selection of quality appliances. Their sales staff is very knowledgeable and work hard to help you make the best choices for your needs.
I gave specific instructions as well to call my significant other, not me, when they were delivering as I was going to be at work. Wouldn't you know, they called me instead and I had to tell them to call the other number provided in the delivery instructions. A little competency goes a long way. I am happy now that it all worked out and were handled accordingly but the disorganization makes me hesitant to recommend them whole heartedly.
