Absolutely horrible. Quality is atrocious. Which shouldn't happen w/ the turnover they have. Every piece of sushi I ordered arrived warm. Don't know how this is even possible as I was 10' Away from where they were making it. The maguro was bad, as in should have been thrown away. Even the beer I ordered was warm.
This is not what you might expect from airport sushi. It is fabulous. The staff is hit or miss...some seem very friendly, others not so much. But I love the food. Now that I've found this place I'm no longer bummed out about a long layover at ORD.
Very fresh and clean, a bit pricey but I'm fairly certain it's airport taxes that drive this mostly.
It says they're open until 10pm but when I showed up at 9:40 they were completely shut down and everything was put away. I was really excited to try this out because I love the concept but that's just a poor way to do business. Post the correct hours.
Food was good but service was underwhelming at best. Seems to be better if you sit at the bar than a table. My server was far more focused in socializing with the other staff and the other airport employees than attending to his tables. Food and value (for an airport spot) is 3 to 4 stars, service is 2 stars.
Best tuna rolls in the place though, without a doubt.
And now we get to the price. It's at least double what it should be. I get it, food in airports carries a premium. But their quality is what you'd expect at a $20 all you can eat restaurant. The service leaves a lot to be desired. Avoid this place at all costs. Your stomach and wallet will thank me.
