Been going here for years and have never been disappointed. I picked up a Disney princess cake yesterday. It looked better than the picture if that's possible. We got fresh strawberry whipped cream sprayed in pink. The party guests were in awe and so was the wait staff at the restaurant. We shared the cake with our waitress and staff since we had extra. Think Webers's going to have some new customers
We received a strawberry & cheese coffee cake from Weber's and it was not only beautiful to look at, but also fantastically delicious. Everything was fresh, including the strawberries. It had cream cheese in the middle that tasted like a thick custard.
Now this is what I call a bakery!
Overall, I'm a fan and am looking to pick up some treats soon for my friends and family!
Of course the pastries are delicious! This, however, was my first time coming in to order. I needed a birthday cake last minute since my aunt forgot. I walked in to a very crowded bakery (not surprising since they are amazing) was very pleased I could get a number and be called much quicker than I anticipated. I was in and out in about 15 min. And I bought a delicious cake for our occasion. Way to be on your service and quality, Webers!

The amount of things Weber's offers as well as the quality is what makes it stand out as one of Chicago's greatest bakeries. They also have managed to keep the prices pretty cheap as well, adding tremendous value to their food while keeping customers extremely happy similar to other well known bakeries close by like Pticek.
Located near the Garfield Ridge neighborhood (which is close to Midway Airport for all you Chicago visitors) it has a HUGE parking lot for such a small, quaint business because they have a ton of customers. Service is speedy though and you'll be in and out in no time. The staff is very warm and welcoming as well!
Good pastry! Would like to see a bigger sign for those who don't know they need a ticket to order. It was very rude the very first time I came here & no one says anything & u stand there for more than 15 mins when its crowded & you can't get what u need.
It has the best rye bread on the Southside. I was just there 11/14/2017--saw a disturbing thing, a worker was filling the front case with white frosting long john's she dropped 4 on the ground. She picked them up and put back on the tray went into the back then 2 minutes later reemerged with 4 freshly frosted long john's. Wow, I guess the 5 second rule for dropped food was applied. Only 10 counter employees were working, must have been wearing sterile shoes!
