You can't go wrong with Wrigley. So much history in this ballpark. I would recommend purchasing seats if possible. We purchased standing room only due to the play offs and it was a mad house. There is a very nice common area outside where they displayed a massive TV. There are differently modern upgrades to this park.
The ushers were very friendly and knowledgeable of where things were in the park, no matter where you were. The ticket prices were accessible to people of all incomes, and the food wasn't too overpriced for a sports event. Service came in a reasonable amount of time. Seating was good from all sides; there was no bad view. Overall, I had a great time and will definitely return.
Caugh a few games at Wrigley Field and love the atmosphere. Good upkeep on an older stadium. One of the best sports towns in the states. Lots of places to eat and drink your sorrows away after the game around the stadium. I always found it funny that it didn't have stadium lighting to play night names until recently. We got really good tickets for a decent price but this is going back a few years when the Cubs sucked before the world series.
Definitely do the park tour. It's so much fun to see the areas of the park that are normally off limits and hear the history being the field. The guides are well informed and happy to answer any questions you have.
I came here during the 2017 playoffs and watched the Cubs lose in spectacular fashion to the LA Dodgers. I got the cheap 'seats' - standing only. Although they lost, it was a great experience as everyone sang at the bottom of the 7th - took me back to the days when Harry would lead the crowd. Decent stadium and good food.
