Excellent modern design with glass ceiling for library.
Very cool bubble library. Certainly gives you a nice view of the sky.
Mansueto is a gorgeous building and a great place to study if you are ok with not making any noise and don't mind the air conditioning hum. If you are coming to campus for a visit, make sure to call ahead and see if you can get a tour of the robot arm book retrieval system, because it is super cool!
Bubble libraries have become a bit of fad in modern achitechure but its hard to deny the utility of the lovely natural light and long desks in a dome kept hushed by a pleasant white noise. I knew they offered monthly tours, but the circulation desk person was willing to take me and my parents on a tour downstairs to see the robotic stacks because it wasn't too busy.
Did not have the chance to go inside the library. But I can imagine how fantastic the experience would be to study inside
