It is so nice having a neighborhood library again. Growing up I remember how I use to go to the library on 79th and Cottage Grove every other Saturday to get new library books that I couldn't wait to get home to read. Now, I share this same love for books and reading with my granddaughter at the Greater Grand Crossing Library Branch.

Enjoyed my time taking care of business at this south side branch today. The female staff was friendly and helpful with a diverse crowd from the environment. One issue, a male employee was not to computer literate to understand when a computer is locked, please check with customer before unlocking the computer and exposing personal business. When I addressed the employee of the issue, he replied, "I thought you left". However, I was visibly present at the front desk adding funds for the print station. Common sense is truly nonexistent in 2016!
