I visited during Open House Chicago and was s bit disappointed by the mediocre upkeep of the property. I felt like I was stepping into a1960's vintage place of worship that has seen little renovation or upkeep. Architecturally it's a magnificent piece of Chicago History but I wonder if the future has other plans for this parcel.
Posting strictly from an architectural viewpoint, it is a gorgeous older building with great history and interesting architectural designs. Got a tour during architecture week.
A gorgeous building architecturally but has been let go unfortunately - would be good to see a little more effort go into its upkeep.
