On to the good- 2 bars. WIN. Nice bartenders, who make good recommendations, and strong drinks when you ask for them. WIN. Great ambiance and clean, non weird restrooms. WIN. Drink specials on Friday night. WIN. I wouldn't whine about prices though, if you come here, you expect to shell out some money.
The place inside is chic- but I do think $4 for coat check is a little ridic. And yes, so is the massive amounts of security. 5 guys descreetly stationed around the club is cool. 10 makes me wonder whether the President is showing up.
Ok cuvee. I get that you are trying to be different, but back door entrance is for models and actors who want to not be seen. Since I have less stalkers and less paparazzi following me than they do, it seems really shady to come in from the back. I also thought I would be mugged. Not a fun way to start the evening I think.
People give it a bad rep because they think the security is too much or rude/racist, they’re wrong. Been here a few times and I haven’t been turned away yet. The music and atmosphere is extravagant, it’s not a large club by any means, but it has that lounge feel to it, in addition to two bars. It’s pricey, why do you think they have all this security? As a person who goes to clubs/bars near river north nearly every weekend, I can say that this place is definitely one to consider, celebs come here often too!!
This place is the absolute worst. Do not give them a dime of your money. The staff is rude and openly discriminatory towards potential customers. A reservation guarantees you nothing... You can still be turned away at their discretion. . The general manager is a real POS. There are more staff than customers. I wish it was possible to give less than one star because they don't even deserve that. Women of color especially, avoid at all costs. I have much more to say, but will leave it here for now.

Very rude staff. They guys at entrance didn't let me get in, without any explanation. I was agree to pay cover, which they didn't take. I wasn't drunk, was absolutely sober, was not wearing gym shoes. You guys lost a customer, who wanted to spend time and money at your place. If there were an option to leave you zero stars, I would definitely do this!
