Food was good, service was not. Would be a 5 star if service was better. Maybe that's "the norm" for big city dining, but it's not what we're used to anyway. The wait staff was friendly, just not efficient or attentive. We waited for 10 to 15 minutes after being seated before a server even came by the table...and they were not busy.
We were two mid-twenty students trying to have a nice night out as our weekend trip wrapped up. Needless to say this was the lowest point.
We did the over night valet which was very convenient for our stay in the city. Before picking our car up we decided to eat at the restaurant and it is one of the best in the city. They have a great variety of food to chose from. The food was very flavorful. The atmosphere is amazing and the service was great! The owner of the valet and restaurant was very helpful and we will be back again!
My partner and I ordered the NY strip cooked medium rare. Both of our steaks came well-done and full of char. When we sent it back our server had the nerve to correct us stating it was just the lighting and it was in fact cooked to how we requested. Nevertheless, after some convincing he took the steaks back and cooked two new ones for us. Although these were cooked closer to how we requested (though basically blue/rare now) they were still of poor quality in my opinion.
We were there less than 45 minutes. While talking employees came up several times asking to take our plates but we were not done eating!
Horrible. Food was disgusting. My tacos had a nasty smell. Tipped the waiter 18 percent of the bill and then asked me if there was anything wrong...that’s the minimum tip! You don’t ask a customer for more money if they already tipped you the minimum.
After presenting us with our new dishes our server ignored us the rest of the night. I couldn't believe this guy's level of immaturity. We watched as he circled around the restaurant to every table but ours.
Menu indicate gluten free, etc. That was a plus. Decor was nice. Fries were over cooked. The restaurant did not have many patrons but we felt rushed.
