Probably the biggest Filipino supermarket in Chicago, good selection of groceries from Southeast Asia. Seafood City is spacious, clean, and well organized. There's also a decent fish/seafood section where you can pick a fish and they'll clean/cut and even fry up your fish. This grocery store also has three restaurants and two bakeries so you don't have to be shopping hungry.
Good food and decent grocery selections. Convenient location and easy parking from 8pm to closing. Come here about 3 times a month... mostly for comfort foods.
Amazing place to find different Asian brands but more geared for the Filipino community. They have a food court with different Filipino dishes and also have two different bakeries. A must if you love Filipino food or if you want to try it.
For the uninitiated, the "seafood" is not the main focus of this store. It is a Filipino supermarket, but more of a West coast Filipino novelty experience. You will still find better prices at the places you originally went to before this store opened, but you may find more obscure products here. The weekends are a better time to stop by because they offer "street food." If anything, go for the prepared foods.
This is solely for Grill City. Decent selection of grilled food - meat, fish, seafood although average to below average taste Customer service though is somewhat lacking. The stuff are busy taking to each other while tending to customers somewhat more interested in everything except their work. I noticed one of the grill associate fix her hair with her bare hand while tending to the grill - not sure if she was grilling or cleaning up but she was serving customers after. Poor customer service with so so tasting food (ordered the meat family pack).
