I have been raving about this place since , I attended a Town Hall Meeting in the Spring . Then , I helped (Dishwasher) at their Summer Festival ,on Father's Day this Summer .
Well , no one was around and I decided to do a little Impromptu Modeling (Vogue) after shopping . And these pics are the result , I asked a stranger to take them (A Frenchman) whom was obliging !
I have been attending BTC regularly since July and I am very happy. The congregation is very cordial and warm hearted. Aside from Sunday service, there are courses that are offered to either introduce one to Buddhism or extend one's knowledge of the religion. I have attended both the Intro to Buddhism course and also meditation (which is offered on both Sundays and Thursdays). Rev. Patti is very interactive with members of the temple and is very approachable, which is a huge plus. Sometimes places of worship can be a little intimidating but this is definitely not one of them. There is also a sense of open-mindedness when you attend the temple - there is not a sense of urgency for you to join the temple and stay in one place. You should stop by and visit with the awesome people of BTC!

One of the best places in Chicago to learn and practice Buddhist principles. The place is filled with beautiful beings, Carlos, Reverend Patti, and Alberto teach wonderfully. Try their walking zen meditations on Sunday mornings or Thursday evenings.
