Route suggestion: from north to south. Finally you can reach taxi ferry (only $8) and go to navy.

The park is a busy place much of the time, so you'll need to select your visit time based on how busy you prefer the park to be.

Amazing park in center of downtown. The best time to visit is from morning till 2 hours before sunset. There is no reason to be here at night/late evening because most like you see less then 25% of the points of interest.

Millennium park is a great urban park rivaled by few others in the world. On the west side you have a beautiful view of Chicago and it's glorious architecture and the east side enjoys the lake.

Work hours are often quieter and better for more reflective moments.

There is much to see here at this Millennium Park. Of course everybody comes to see the bean but everywhere you look there's some type of sculpture or something to check out.

Great Outdoor Experience! Tons of crowds, because it was the holiday weekend, but we were able to move freely and see all the sights. They're beautiful walkways and Pathways around the park, tons of small exhibits to see, we even ran into an unexpected Art Exhibit made out of recycled tires! Excellent views of the city beautiful nature and great sculptures. Definitely go see cloud gate! It's also known as The Bean, but it was a fantastic experience and a lot of fun for the kids!

The day I was here it was a little bit overcast and pretty chilly. That didn't stop the car from coming out. I felt safe the entire time I was here but it's always a good idea to keep an eye out on your surroundings. Had it been a warmer day I may have spent more time exploring the rest of the park.

The play ground is amazing and can keep children busy for hours, but you must stay near your children and keep an active eye on them on weekends - it's simply to busy to let them wonder off.

The theater shell is a lovely place for concerts with a large blanket / picnic area behind it. Be sure to bring bug repellent - it's not a problem, but you are near the lake. Notable performances can be seen here, so be on the look out.

Millennium Park is definitely one of the best urban parks in the country. Free concerts in a world class stadium seating + lawn amphitheater (where you can drink alcohol that you bring in!), fountains that are made for playing in and which show animated faces the size of a small building, location aware sculptures (the bean!) that reflect the entire downtown, and of course the location itself!
