This place is amazing!!! They're very friendly, prompt, and professional. I went in for a silk press and that's exactly what I received. My hair is bouncy and almost doesn't feel like my own. Definitely all natural. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to better their hair.
I sent a letter to the owner regarding my visit to this salon yesterday, September 23rd. I am awaiting a reply so I can speak with him. This is an excerpt from the letter:
I started going to Huetiful Salon in April 2017 and remain a regular customer. My experience has been great and consistent! The first stylist to service my hair was Shakeeka. From day one, she provided great service. She is very attentive to my request, talks through things to make sure we are on the same page, and has even done a test on my hair before starting the full service to ensure I'm satisfied.
My hair looks terrible. At this point, that was my first and last time visiting a Huetiful Salon.

Today, I received a response from the owner. His response was apologetic, and he immediately refunded all monies. While this is good, the exceptional level of service that I appreciated was the fact that he was taking steps to ensure this didn't occur again, including possible retraining, coaching, etc. This is when you know the owner cares about more than just not receiving a bad review. This owner cares about delivering exceptional service to all of his clients.
Other great stylist that have serviced me are: Brenda, Charita, and Kim. Between the great service, hours, and free steam treatments, it's a win-win!
I had an amazing experience at Huetiful. When I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and professional staff. They took great care of my hair and explained everything as they did my hair. I booked with Brenda for a twist in. She's very nice and cares for her clients. It was a little bit of a wait from the time I booked my appointment but still a great experience

Stylists are very informative on natural hair care. And your hair always looks beautiful and healthy after your appointment. I love Charita she is very educated and gifted in her profession!
"At my appointment time, my stylist, Shakeea, came up front to greet and escort me to the back. She confirmed the service - medium sized finger coils. She examined my hair. She then asked if I was sure I didn't want small. I said no, I do not want small. Then, I asked her to show me what she considered small and medium. Based on what she showed me, demonstrating on my hair, I showed her my idea of medium. I even went as far as to show her pictures of my hair of a previous coil job from another salon, so she could see what I considered to be medium. I assumed at this point that we were on the same page. However, I ended up with a head full of large sections. They look like the old school plats that girls wore as children in the 60's and 70's. I should have known by the fact that she kept re-twisting each piece, because it kept unraveling. Then, she stuck clips in my entire head to hold the coils. Whatever she used in my hair was all over the floor, dripping onto my face and in my eyes. I have never had a problem getting coils or any other twists before. This completely stunned me. I was disgusted, but still kept my cool, trying to give her a chance. Once she was done and I had come out from the dryer, she handed me a mirror to see the back of my hair, I wanted to scream. I told her those sections are really big. They do not look medium sized. I asked her if that is what your salon considers to be medium sized. She said yes. Well, no other salon considers this mess on top of my head to be medium sized sections. The twists do not have one drop of uniformity. The whole point of getting coils is the beauty of the coils laying side by side, not big sections of hair with a little spaghetti coil at the tip. Even Sterling, another stylist, walked over to her when she was working on the back of my head to ask her what size she considered the twists she was putting in my head to be. She said medium. He walked away, but I could tell there was something to that question. Another sign that something was extremely wrong here."
