it is assumed that the government employeess are lazy. This is a fairly accurate assumption. While not true for each and every employee, it is correct for most. When you become employed by the government, what usually happens is you become part of a union..so unless they mess up big time...they have a job for life...here is no exception...workers are rude and the opposite of friendly and competent... (most of them)
Brought few forms to correct an error on my property taxes. Took me 5 minutes to have everything fixed. The people i talked to were nice. Came in at 8:30 am though
3. The assessor method of valuing property is extremely poor. Many properties are overassessed 10 times !
2. Many properties have pictures from 2007 (which was 10 years ago). Those pictures do not reflect the current condition of the property.
1. The web site has become a way for the assessor to generate income by third party advertisers. Nothing wrong with that except that the ads slow the website considerably.
These guys do not even know that their website seach feature for PINs is down.
